You know you're an alcoholic when...

o You frequently urinate outdoors.

o You first wake up and you're afraid you're gonna die and a half-hour later you're afraid you won't.

o You fall asleep taking a dump.

o You believe that spilling a beer is alcohol abuse.

o You go to the john to hurl, but you take your beer with you.

o You find it's easier to study drunk.

o You're on a first name basis at the detoxification center.

o Beer ads make sense.

o You wake up to the sound of your dog drinking out of the toilet
and you're so dry that it sounds mighty thirst quenching.

o You wake the next morning and start drinking a few of the half
empties left sitting around the room.

o The space on your driver's license that tells your eye color
reads "bloodshot".

o You fall down a flight of steps and DON'T spill a drop of your
beer.

o You mix your cocktails by the litre.

o You grow a beard because it stops beer that's running down your
chin.

o You put off urinating in hopes of reaching that near orgasmic
Zen-like piss.

o You explain to your bank manager that you spent your overdraft
mainly on beer and women; "the rest I just wasted."

o When the bottle says 20 standard drinks but you only get 5.

o You spell Alcohol with a capital letter out of respect

The main reason I stopped drinking was because I was embarrassed waking up on the front lawn every Sunday morning. Very Happy

I can't say I've ever come to work drunk and passed out in the women's washroom or heard of anyone doing so(until now).

I have, however gone to work, as most people I'm sure, increadibly hung over. The demographic that works at my store is such that you would expect at least 5 or so people to come in on Saturday morning hurting.

Management seems cool with this. I think they know it is an implicit liability when they hire in the 18-25 age group. Plus, by 1 or 2pm, most ill effects have worn off and it is possible to function normally.

Well, be careful. Those fun times when you're young can turn into something much worse later on. All I can say for me is, sometimes you have to hit bottom before you can rise to the top. Life is a lot brighter this week than last.
