| I miss reading all of Home Depot's news. Where are you guys? I know the other forum was volital, but this one is nicer because you can't attack. I miss all of you. Romper, stomper, tomper do tell me, tell me, tell me true, have my good friends been good today, I see Tigerlilly, and Scruffy and a few others but where is phychobaby69. You guys made my day. Hiya Classy!
I miss all of you too, I've had some heath problems lately, but I am on some antibiotics now and recovering well. I also haven't posted much because I have quit smoking. That may not seem connected to internet use, but each time I posted in the past, I was enjoying a smoke break! Yup . I smoked ALOT. Now that I have quit, I am trying to replace the cigarettes, and the activities I associated with smoking. Not easy. It's probably harder that just quitiing. It'll get easier, but for now it's still a struggle. Bear with me. Tigerlily |

I forgot about the shoes. Did you get that information? Keep me informed on your quiting the habit. I am ready but not. I have been doing it for so long that I should stop. I really do not want to turn into a raving bitch. I seem to be able to do it smoking and can just imagine how bad I would be if I stopped.

How could a DM kill a complete forum? Did he have the power to completely delete Retailworkers? |

Bad news about the shoe thing. My father-in-law had a falling out with the company. No shoes for me. But, he is going to set me up with a different line, maybe dresses, or " undergarments"  , or something...
I have no idea how I quit smoking. It's funny because every once in a while my husband will suggest that we quit together and my response has always been " Go right the fuck ahead! " - obviously the thought of anyone interfering with my habit got me riled! So when I woke up one day in the middle of this flu I had, and discovered that the mere smell of cigarettes made me gag... I thought I was pregnant again! I always feel like that when I'm pregnant, only... I was in the middle of my cycle. So then I thought :" well, this'll pass... hmmmmm, do they taste any better today?...nope. damn. How about now?.... nope. damn." And so on and so on, until one day I realized that I'd forgotten to check if cigarettes still tasted like shit, and I was done. The most interesting part of quitting is how much extra time there is in a day! I freaks me out when I look at the clock and it's 2-3 hours earlier than what I think it is. I have also had to modify my work behaviors. My whole dept. smokes, so we handle breaks pretty liberally, we kind of tag-team all day, which is great, if you smoke. Now instead of freezing my ass off outside, I walk laps around the store. I can't believe how much easier it is to breathe! And I have more time to visit with my friends ( and help them downstock! ) in other departments. All in all I'd say it was probably too easy for me to quit. I feel guilty about it. I also quit drinking diet coke. I am all out of vices, maybe I should start lying, or whoring about town... Meh. I'll give normal a shot. What can it hurt! |

| Doctor said he is doing better than expected, but will have to go in the day after I come back from Ireland. So that means we will not see each other for about 5 weeks. I do visit on weekends, but the hospital is 2 hours away and I just can't drive that much when I get up at 4:00 everyday for work. | |
