Hi,
I'm an ex-Sears Appliance sales person. I have an interview for Lowes. Anyone give me some advice? Is Lowes good to work for? Are they pretty fair to their employeed?
Thanks

I like working at my store. Our managers have their days, but yes they are fair.

I know of 2 ex Sears appliance sales associates now working at Lowe's and enjoy it. I also know of 3 ex Sears appliance sales associates now working at HD and enjoy it. Lowe's pays more than the HD, but anything is better than Sears.

I thought HD pays more, but Lowes has better insurance and bennies.

Dear Classylady,
First of all I am happy to hear that your husband is doing better. My prayers will be with you. Lowe's pays much more that the HD(at least in the appliance department). Lowe's pays a higher base plus spiffs on appliances sold. The HD is considering spiffs on the sales of its appliances.
