When seeing all of the corporate greed by executives are the lower level employees just as much to blame?-Do you realize that I have never heard anyone talk about or mention the fact that even if you take just one pencil or one paper you are taking something that is not yours-stealing.And yet someone sees some accounting fraud & it's front page news.Perhaps if those accountants or managers that make these false reports had just been reminded just one of the times they took something like a paper clip or pen & put it in their pockets that was stealing perhaps many of these scandals wouldn't come about. Is this an employer's fault for not reminding employees that even un-authorized removal of a paper clip is theft or is it their co-workers fault for not pointing out the samething.People see the small stuff tolerated all of the time & like the children many will always be they will be constantly testing their boundries.

I think many feel that taking something from the workplace is a form of revenge or a justified action for SOMETHING else that happend between them and the employer. If problems, even the little ones are addressed head on period many of these problems would not perpetuate to the cataclysmic proportions that these corporate scandals happen. It's justice to the THIEF-"they screwed up my pay so I'll TAKE these paper clips & pens for my school supplies that the overtime would've paid for";"ah they owe me for working off the clock that time"-now if everybody at least brought up these seemingly small or trival issues on a regular basis they would at least be addressed after the fact-in other words"I better not ask them to work off the clock or else... "-this is just an example but sometimes even the little crap quite literally has to be cleaned up right away.
