Cne can look at this many different ways including the terrorist planning more elaborate and larger than first thought & that the government already had some of these participants under observation & did not take them seriously enough. Factions;not government directly but associated either helped the culprits(directly or indirectly) or executed a plan themselves . Motive post 9-11 changes. At this point in my life after seeing enough evidence that 3 major political figures are assasinated by conspiracy in one decade including a president one must always look at all possibilities. And remember as with a major corporation or company it is not always the CEO but the people around him or on the board that exert much of the actual power and influence.

I agree fully. In out own little arena I've long since stopped blaming Lacy for all that happened to Sears. He deserves his share of the blame but I think we fall into a trap when we focus all of our anger and attention on the figurehead who's stuck out there in the limelight, often for the sole purpose of taking all the heat and flack. Donald Carty is a far more lethal and insiduous reptile than Alan Lacy ever was and Miles isn't too far behind. You have to work your way to Lampert's level before you can say one person bears ultimate responsibility.
