I was threatened with disciplinary action last Thursday for having an extra hour on my paycheck. I worked my scheduled hours but since I was added to the "in-focus" team, I ended up with the extra time. I am new but was informed that it is my responsibility to insure that my hours don't go over forty in any given week. Is this a Home Depot policy? I had to start as a cashier so I can't even leave the register for a bathroom break without permission, much less adjust my schedule. It just doesn;t seem right. Plus, isn't there some sort of progressive disciplinary approach or can I recieve a written disciplinary warning for some sort of first offense?
