the time on the site shows up four hours ahead of my time (EST)

noooo....pacific time is gmt-8 so it is -5.....dont argue with me again or you will be running through the Pine Barrens Evil or Very Mad Very Happy

double click on your time and date read out on your task bar and hit "time zones" Pacific time is -8 my friends...

OK my comp says pacifictime is GMT -8 so I went to the NIST site and they say it is -7......so I guess they are correct.... Shocked

In the forum, PST is GMT - 7. Which would corroborate with GoodFella's testament to his time (EST) being GMT-4.

I dunno, maybe the software is screwy. My sytem clock, like you said, reads -8. I'll look into it. Maybe it's a configuration issue.

I figured it out!!!!! Pacific time is -7 during British Summer time...(our DST) it is -8 during standard time!!!!!! Phew I feel better!
