| double click on your time and date read out on your task bar and hit "time zones" Pacific time is -8 my friends... | |

OK my comp says pacifictime is GMT -8 so I went to the NIST site and they say it is -7......so I guess they are correct....

In the forum, PST is GMT - 7. Which would corroborate with GoodFella's testament to his time (EST) being GMT-4.
I dunno, maybe the software is screwy. My sytem clock, like you said, reads -8. I'll look into it. Maybe it's a configuration issue. |

I figured it out!!!!! Pacific time is -7 during British Summer time...(our DST) it is -8 during standard time!!!!!! Phew I feel better!
