i think there are so many negatives that lacys team is giving out, there is got to be some positives out there. how can a company run on negatives. we have listed all the negatives, we have store managers that fire people on pas where sears has lost cases before and they still go out on a limb. they are grasping for cash they sell off and layoff almost anything and everybody. they do not seem to care who they hurt or how they remove the disposable people they seem to see most of their employees. so what are the positives long years of maintaining good customer base, brand loyalty with kenmore, craftsman to name a few. the company is too large to go down without affecting vendors nationwide, they get special deals from the vendors, kenmore product that boasts of special types of features such as from whirlpool the he3t higher rpm than any other front loader., the top loader kenmore with triple agitation. the trio a bottom mount refrig with three doors, craftsman tools that lead the industry in inovative tools mostly advertise by bob vila on tv. they have some of the best softners and water heaters. products that stand out. they have some of the best service departments, even though they do not appreciate what they have in place. their delivery a different subject, they need their own delivery drivers and not sub contractors. they have a installation department that excels. they can bring out good product such as lands end , but they need to promote it for what it is and not reduce it to clearance. and the biggest positive that sears has is their people, their loyal employees, those who do the job everyday from isms to leads to even the everyday manager who is good to his or her employees with ever mounting stress they go on and do the job and treat their employees with respect. they have a great salesforce of high trained commission salespeople the best in the business, they can not reduce product at will , but they sell by using features to benefits to sell the product and they do it everyday, the promote the pa or ma and that makes the company big profit. they have auto centers that provide good product and they still can be a force of their own . yes sears has positives, they need to advertise their positives and they need to tell their employees that they are needed and treat them with respect. i know this is my opinion , but is it not what all employees everywhere whether or not they work for sears or whoever wants for themselves and their company.
