|
|
|
Have anyone been able to access the Sales Flash at your store?
We had to wait for the next day report to know how much we sold for the day.
Now if too many access this option it could send the computers into offline. this was not the case for us. We simply could not access it for the last 3 days. Hmmmmm.
Sure hope they get it fixed.
Of course, on the other hand, since we didn't know how much we sold some had to work harder to make sure they had a decent day.
Maybe it was planned. Doubtful But let's face it, it would sure make people work harder.

No problem with sales flash, but did hear that they were going to take that out months ago. Has anyone had all the clocks in the store removed.

No sales flashes because when de-commissioning takes place the need will not exist.Everyone must realize plans are based on what the future might bring and plans or policies or programs appear out the blue there more than likely IS a purpose. Also many of these plans take place over the course of years in business.

Exactly I think also it is to stop employees from flashng each other all day, Think about all the things they have taken, the ability to check on customer orders, clocks, or clothing choice, the days you would like off you have to have total open availablity. One quarter of our income, so think about it how much more will follow.Keep Lacy in office and we all will see

If salesflash stops functioning, or if salesflash causes your store's registers to go offline; there is a problem with the database on your In-Store Processor. Usually the problem is such that running a Loss Prevention Report will kill all systems in the store too. This is a problem that can be corrected by having the OM, SGM, FSA, or really -- any ASM call the helpdesk and notify them of the issue. The database on the ISP sometimes gets corrupted and the Database Administrators have to connect to the ISP to repair it. Once they fix the corruption, everything in the store returns to normal.
