Had our manditory meeting for all commission BC & 71 SALES ASSOC.
DID YOU KNOW ?? THAT AS AN BC ASSOC. YEWS YOU IF YOU DO ALL THE RIGHT THINGS. Opening new credit accounts, selling the 5 yr, MPA'S , INSTALLS thay you could be making $40 to $60,000 per year & that is MORE MONEY THAN THE MANAGERS OF THE STORE ARE MAKING !!!
THAT IS WHAT THEY TOLD US..EVEN HAD IT FIGURED OUT FOR EACH ASSOC--What we lost so far this year just in MPAS & gave each assoc his or her copy , saying that they hoped that would get us good and mad and we woul change our presentations , as we have all ready lost that money & wouldn't our families have enjoyed all that money we lost . Since we are going into the 4 quarter this infromation will better prepair us to go forward.
YES , I WOULD LIKE TO HAV HAD THIS MONEY. but I ALSO Know that none of us are perfect, and that is the reason that all of my pencils have that little rubber thing at the top.
I ALSO BELIEVE THAT not one associate gets up in the day and says I don't think i want to do my best today, i'll just goof off today.

Get with the program. It's easy to make more money, just sell more. And by the way, sell five years pa's on everything, that way you earn even more. You get 5 years on everything.

So sell high-end to everyone you talk to and stop loosing money for Sears and yourself. Sears told you how much your loosing so stop it & start $elling more and get more credit apps.

sincerely,
your manager

The salesman knew nothing about the product and kept asking him questions from some book he was holding and not looking at him at all. Said he was disgusted and walked out....Gee. I wonder why? OK but most of my time is spent explaining why the heck the company does things in such a messed up manner and the 'may I' questions.

I hope that you are in the area that sells all high end mdse. & that all of your sales has the 5yr mpas, just so happens I am not blessed to be in a area that purches the high end mdse most or all the time & dont tell me that is the salesperson 's idea. WE all try to take the cust to the best item for what they want however there are budgets and reguardless of credit plans they will only spent so much and want low interest cards.
thanks for your reply

ReLaunch = sell something to everyone you talk to. Increase your closed ratio using the Intellegence Binders and be sure all customers understand price match and we carry all the top brands.

This is the deal gang......pitch the pa to everyone......try and overcome their objection to purchasing the pa. Don't give up on the first no the customer says......

Don't walk low end because you are showing only high end.
Don't walk high end because you are getting hammered on showing low end.
Don't walk the mid end because your attitude stinks.....

Smile, greet, relate, sell something..........

Intellegence binders???? is that what you're calling them? we call them going out of business books, or gobb books for short.

wait, i'm confused. is holding this binder supposed to make me look more intelegent or is the binder itself supposed to actually make me more intelligent because now i know what questions to ask when approaching a customer?? even though half of those questions would make me look absolutely retarted in my department.

Management in my store claims that the binder has secret powers that our competition hasn't figured out how to harness and package yet.

DC, Intelligence binders are the books that show prices and models available at our competitors....not blue books.

If you don't have these then start asking for them. They were part of the re-launch and I have personally used them a few times to find out what is offered at other stores and what we have that is a like item. Talk to your managers tomorrow.

everything has been slashed, take a look around what do you see, we lost supplies, managers, associates in every part of the business, some good and bad, however they have cut everyone's pay including our profit sharing, it has affected everything if you think about it. These new rolls out through hoffman are not negotciable and beleive it or not no one wants to give bad news, however in the big picture something needed to change or Sears will close, I have a feeling we are near the end of our change now, if this doenst put us back on top there will be no more postings..................... :( no one will be left
