Hey this isn't all bad. When Alan decides to add back some of the things he absconded with we'll all feel better and even our morale could jump a notch-not quite back to the good old days. But who gets raises every year other than retirees, government employees, union workers, most everyone in the USA, and especially CEO's, CFO's, COB's etc. (not counting those options ofcourse). Certainly not BC employees.

Did you miss most of your training pay in the past year?

50 weeks x 4 x $6 = $1200

PUT in FOR IT- you should get 1hr Sales Today, 1/2 hr Credit Update, time to do competitive checks, Time for reading industry rags-TWICE, Audio-Video, all the time you spend on the computer for "Sears Training", time to go to competitive internet sites and compare, time to read about Sears items (you don't have an up to date Flip Book or a Merchandise book),Time to go to forums on the Internet, time to go to Manufacturer sites-You get the idea. Remember traffic is light and you want to be ready when the customer walks in.

How about bringing those Spiff's from manufacturer's back-that was worth at least $2k. If they don't want to let us get cash, why not nice black shirts with Manufacturer logos. Points toward equipment, that if we we owned we would sell better.

What about giving us real training like we used to get once a year? At least require rep in the store training.

Please feel free to add to it should still be list.

Oh yeah, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why a new trainee is worth $8 or $9 per hour (local decision) and I am only worth $6. But if I was sitting in the BIG POOBAH seat I would seriously look into what has happened to the morale in Div 57 and fix it.

I have not been to BBY or CC recently, but I cannot imagine them running an audio department without hooking up the equipment. It's the EXPERIENCE thing you know. Hell just pile it high and watch it fly at XMAS. Any $8 trainee will be able to sell this stuff like hotcakes. Oh why not just bring in a lot of $5.15 ringers for the season instead-That's It we'll be rolling in profits, and HELL with the people who have built this business.

I really love surround sound from the front, so let's tear down all our surround demo's and put all the speakers upfront. The average Joe and Jane will buy if we just give them 10% off now and then.

And we can PRICE MATCH********* any other time
*see associate for dreadful details

Remember those $3/ credit ap months and be happy. In Jan your Prozac,Celexa and Paxil will probably cost a little more, but BE HAPPY

IF I was still in Electronics I would get together before Sunday nite the employee nite that has dwindled down to nothing since all the major screw the employee. I would make sure that not even the Tv's were turned on or off till they told me what was up. I would do none of the endless cleaning and set up. Here yesterday in our department they had them hooking up big screens and all the prep for the nite that all the TROLLS come in. I would not have done anything if they like playing games posting it on the intranet taking it off.
