Every day you are scheduled for the opening shift we, all the store, NO EXCEPTIONS--the SGM or one of the ASM HAS a meeting talking about the prior days sales, mpas rpas installs credit apps. This is usually a 30 min stand in center of store near central cash wrap. Many of the assocs. are getting the hourly pay as they are scheduled to be there, but, BC-HE AND THE REST OF COMMISSION SALES ARE NOT..DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD ? turn in for trainning time at the end of week to be on the same level playing field as the balance of assocs ????

The last time I read an associate handbook, it stated that commission sales associates are not to engage in more than 20 minutes per day or 2 hours per week in non-selling tasks. When required to perform non-selling tasks for over 20 min/day or 2 hrs/wk you have to be paid your BR or training/meeting pay.

Be careful for what you wish for. If every other commission dept. has gone hourly. Bc may not be too far behind. Then you won't have to worry about being on the same playing field. For now just enjoy that you make commission.
