I am looking to purchase a new exterior door and was looking at HD and Lowes since both are doing a 12 months no payment deal in the next few days.
Both seem to have the same installation fee (I'm guessing the same place probably does both?) and the guy at Lowes just revealed the extra $35 to send somebody to measure my freakin' door. I'm wondering if there are any hidden fees and other problems that I should be aware of if I go through HD?

The 35 dollars is then takin from the labor fee. So your not really paying anymore money at Lowes

every body gets pissed about damn 35 dollars and its taken out at the end of it all so your not paying any more and lowes has better prices and quality doors and watch out for home depot on hidden fees and no the same place does not install it lowes has great installers that sub contract the work and they are all pre screened and have to have there shit together im trying to get on as an installer for lowes and i know
