Depends on what the Store Manager thinks you deserve.

I agree with the previous poster. You'll get as little as the store manager thinks they can get away with paying you.

I have been with Lowes for nearly a year and a half. Just one pitiful raise of 17 cents at 6 months and none since even though I have an excellent attendance and work record. As it was said in another thread, the bigger your tits, the bigger and sooner your raise. I am the wrong gender for tits, so no raise. WOW! $12.23 per hour! You have hit retail gold!

You will get anywhere from $.10 to $1.00. Depends upon your HRM, SM and ZM. When I had my 90 day review, I got a whopping $1.50 raise and I dont have big boobs. However we had an awesome LPM who took care of us. Since he has left, the door greeter/LPA's have gone to the front end and since lost alot of the decent raises he had gotten us.

Usually .10 cents to a dollar is your typical 90 day raise. I know a guy who works in Electrical quit after he received only a 10 cent raise. He talked to the HR manager and asked for a larger raise but he said only corporate deals with that.
Ive been working for Lowes for 3 years now and I went from only $7.50 an hour to $8.29 an hour, granted Im part time but still thats not even 1 dollar more then when I started.

I say that's a joke. You have got nothing more than the cost of living increases (IF that) for the last ten years. Think about it!.......

I live 4 miles from the store park right outside the doors only work 4 hrs day shift Mon thru Fri about 6:30 or 7:00 am to 10:30 or 11:00 am, i don't work in any dept, i just roam the store helping cust. and take care of J-Hooks and sidestacks oh and sometimes water the plants in garden not too bad a life for an old retired serviceman.......Lowe's is cheap as hell but they have taken pretty good care of me over the years.......It gives me something too do, a place to go and friends to bitch with about our shity jobs......
And i wouldn't change a damn thing

Pay raises are based on the pay scale. It depends on what step and grade of the payscale you are on. You won't be able to find out what your pay raise is unfortunatley untill it's time for it. It isn't a certain percent. It is bascially just based on the compensation pay scale that only HRM and SM have access to.

Why do you think you deserve a raise after only working 3 months?

the myth/legend of the elusive 90 day raise........Good luck getting this.....better yet good luck getting a raise at your yearly. Something will come up from your zone that will give you a review only of the deserving quality of work which you hold heartedly performed and you get chump change of a raise. Hell you might even be able to buy a half tank of gas a week on your hefty raise.
Congrats!!!

Are you saying the 90 day raise doesn't exist? Has anyone here got a 90 day raise?

A lot of people get the 90 day raise. Some people aren't happy with what they receive. I think people shouldn't be afraid to approach their Zones or HR when you are getting close to your 90 day mark and asking when would be a good time to review your job performance. Sometimes, in some stores, you have to take the initiative. That includes asking your Dept. Manager or Zone 'How am I doing, can I improve in any way?'.

Well given the scales leaked out last year unless there was significant raises or a downward spike then they might be close.
The stores are also rated. The difference between them I'd say is 5%. There's 1,2,3,4,5 or abcde. There's not many 5's in the whole chain...probably less than 10. 4's are more common but most stores in the country are 2's and 3's.
1's would be if it's in the middle of nowhere.
The ranking is more based on what they preceive the competition to be. If there's other box stores near it they are more apt to be a higher level.
I think I got a 90 day raise. Then it was awhile before the other. I think I wasn't maximized until they moved me up...it was odd but I think I understand.

OK. when you get a raise it does not mean that you are maxed out in the band that you are at.
I got a raise
Then when I got moved up to another position awhile later my pay went up a tad.
then when I finally got into that position there was another raise on top of that one.
That "tad" probably was the max they could have paid for that position.
