What is the usual hiring timeline, if there is one?
I applied online and received a call a few days later to come in for an interview. When I arrived I took an honesty test, signed a few papers, and then I was interviewed for about 10 minutes. I was then interviewed a few minutes later by the manager of the department I applied for. She set me up for another interview a week later, that was conducted again with her and the HR manager. It's been a little over two weeks and I haven't heard anything, but at the interview the HR manager told me that I will be notified next by either a phone call or a letter.

I was hired in quite differently than most.
I put in my application in on a Tuesday.
Had all three of my interviews, one right after the other, on Wednesday.
Had orientation on Friday.
Worked there 5 years.

You usually have the interview with the store manager before Lowe's is going to waste the money pulling a background check. Once they have done the drug test that is when you know you are in like flynn.
