VOTE!

Even if you are working legally they can't deny you time to go vote.

The right-to-vote protection for workers is guaranteed ONLY in certain states, and state law trumps federal law when it comes to granting workers time off to vote. It all depends on what state you're in. Numerous states warrant severe penalties for employers who do not grant workers time off to vote or otherwise restrict or inhibit their absence from the work place to cast their ballot. Some states mandate employers grant time off to vote, but do not mandate that employers pay the worker during their work absence. So, the blanket statement that Lowe's MUST grant you time off to vote is incorrect. It is completely dependent on which state you work in.

besides they'd risk yet another lawsuit to come around if they didn't give a good reason. A company does have to give reasons for actions or lack there of.
