Fixed days off? Not in my store. In my store, you have to be FLEXIBLE! Have a kid? Too bad. Your kid must be FLEXIBLE about when it needs a mother/father. Go to school? Well, you must be FLEXIBLE and never have class when you are scheduled to work. Sick? Oh, no, you must be FLEXIBLE and only get sick on your days off.

When I got hired 5 Christmas's ago I told them I wasn't available Mon/Wed. I only take one class a semester and keep those choices to M/W.
