I have had all kinds of things happen at my store that I know for a fact are not in policy and procedure.I have been put down by management along with others and everytime anyone says something they get shot down.I need to know if anyone has a corporate e-mail address or phone # besides ethics point which we have tried to use but it goes to the DM who is most of the problem. If you do have any kind of contact info for someone in corporate that will do something instead of just blowing us off, we need your help please let me have it so I can get our store and district back to how it was 3-4 years ago which is how it is supposed to be.Thanks for your time.

Policy and Procedure you say? If you've been with Lowe's any length of time you know they (store management) makes things up to suit themselves. P&P be damned. The phone # for complaints to corporate is posted by your HR office. But ... (1) you're probably wasting your time (especially if your complaint is about the district manager whose boss is the Regional Manager), and (2) if you complain, store management will make your life miserable and your days as a Lowe's associate will be numbered.

3 to 4 years ago? A call to corporate can't change the budget, selling enviroment or the staffing levels.

Store management might try to do things but corporate can still fire them.

I know of some that were fired due to a minor violation...ok...and another one on a bad cause..

corporate called...

sm fired and escourted out of the building

he hasn't been seen since.

One that was fired on a bad cause (by bad I mean not big enough to warrent) has 1.5 years of unemployment coming to him because the company was in the wrong.

Lowes can say what they want but it doesn't mean they'll do things. Whistleblower laws do exist anyway. Once something reaches the court system then it becomes a public record and therefore bad pr.

The store where I work has yours beat. Different managers sign off for other managers when the other manager is not even in the store. They usually do this to cover their butt or to make someone else look bad. HR is totally out of control. And as usual, the honest, hard working Joe get stomped on or blamed for everything. This store has a fixed system of corruption. LP is the biggest thief in the place, and this person blames others for theft. This person is the master of "misdirection" and has a well established theft system. Shrinkage here is beyond belief. I would like to also know how to contact corporate. It seems like corporate has insulated itself from us "working stiffs". This $9 an hour job is not worth the crap I have to put up with. There are several managers who watch this board trying to find out when this store is the topic of discussion. I am sure your stores are the same. A clue for the watchers. I work in a midwest store and in Paint. Keep digging.

night stalker: Your story sounds all too familiar. In fact, sounds like my store. Lowe's has a lot of problems in a lot of its stores. It's getting out of control and they would be best served if they started to address it and do something about it.

$9! I'd find something else...

as for managers looking on here only three people in the store have the ability to fire anyone...sm, ops and hr (for harrasement things)

I wouldn't fear management. In another month is when the yearly shakeup happens. Probably no bonuses again.

other retailers are sheading jobs...guess where they'll end up?
