classy,
I think the last post I made on the other site before it went blank was, the right to a witness of the employees choice to be present during a counceling session. In case you didn't get my second post about that, I checked the site about the law and it was voted out by the FLSA in Sep.2004. IBM ask that it not cover employees not in the union and they ruled in IBM's favor. So thanks to the FLSA we no longer have that right as retail workers unless we're union. There can be five members of management in there and only you, its one persons word against theirs what was said. Just incase you didn't get to read that before we lost the other site.
I guess the site must be down for good, still can't get on, maybe everyone will somehow find this site.

It really sucks when you are accused by management of something and it is their word against yours. We had a ASM who was fired recently, acused of stealing, she said produce the tape that they said they had. The district LP refused. She is seeking an attorney. She would not steel if her life depended on it. The SM did not like her, put her in as a zone manager about 2 months before the firing, he wanted her out. It has happened before in our store, they put you in a position they know you can't handle and then come up with something to get rid of you. These are the people who show up everyday, do their jobs, know policy and procedure, but they are a threat to the SM. Ours is ok sometimes, but he is like a time bomb with a short fuse. You never know when or where he is going to go off.
