at Lowe's and I'm just curious what is the average pay for a cashier? Sales Associate? I'm not exactly sure which position I'm interviewing for yet, but it's one of those two. I read all your gripes, and it still doesn't sound as bad as my current job (@ The Gap) or any of my previous jobs like Borders (I was discriminated against there because I'm not gay or gothic!) or Home Depot ( where slave driving and blackmail are king!).  Not to trivialize your problems or anything, but I would give anything to have a job where I work more than three hours a week and make more than minimum wage at this point!

| Round here I would ask for 8.50 or 9. Most new hires at my store make 7.00 or 7.50 when they start. You will have 38 hours a week if you want em, I havnt had a problem "needing" hours yet. Hince the moniker. | |
