I have an interview coming up at Lowes and I know they are going to ask me how much money you are looking to make. I am hoping to know approximately how the pay structure in Lowes? Who makes the most? Please give me a ball park number for a hourly rate or yearly rate on the following positions;

Store Manger
Ops manager
Zone-Manager
Department Manager
Specialist
Team leader
CSA full time
CSA part time
Head Cashier
Cashier full time
Cashier part time

There's not a pay structure, if they can get you to work for minimum wage and be a department manager that's what they'll pay you. Tell them what you want for your experience and be ready to walk if they say no, if they really want you to work for them they'll call you back.

While I really don't make a lot. I've worked many other jobs and Lowes has paid me the best compared to my experience than any other company. I was actually suprised because the pay I requested was way less than what they said they'd pay me. YAY! Thumbs Up

No matter what, you have to go in with as much money as possible. Shoot for the moon. I am a very well paid DM, and I will make even more as a Zone manager. There is no pay scale. I know this well. There are books that the HR person has that tell who can make what, and where. The state and store do make a difference. It depends what the COLA is, what the market is, etc... Interview well, have your ducks lined up, and don't take the first offer, no matter what. ASK FOR MORE!!!

It's true they will give you the low end if you don't show that you are worth more and most box stores are sticking to maybe a buck above minimum wage to start with exception to Costco, Depot and Lowes. Roughly, in CA starting with them will be between 9 and 10. Dept heads, head cash, CSA, team leaders, etc around 11 to 13. Spec sales/designers can go to 18+ if you know your stuff. ASM's & Ops mgrs are around 40 to 50K and SM's 80K+ This can vary greatly by region as others have stated.
