One has to wonder how much of a family affair the management of Sears full line stores has become. Recently however has anyone noticed that certain recruits have the same name as current managers. Is this by shear coincedence. Is it by shear coincedence that they resemble those already there. Is it by shear coincedence that they worked for the competition and were recrited at a premium. Is it by shear coincedence that they move quickly into positions that leave associates scratching their heads. And when things don't go right for the new recruits, is it by shear coincedence that experienced regional and district mangement are rushed in to get them back on track. Until this is addressed ,are you listening, and hire and promote on merit as opposed to relations. it will not be shear coincedence that the results stay the same. There has been a lot of discussion on culture, it is not shear coincedence that the current culture of sears might best be described as "All in the Family"

Another example of the SHC "Top Down" management style --- look who's at the top ..... ALLWIND ..... does that help to explain anything?
