i dunno if someone is playing games ...........but i just got a msg from my SM and he wants me to go at 4am tomorow? i dunno what is it allabout?
so i dunno if its true cuz its my cousin who took the msg.
can they force you to go at 4am.........store opens at 6am and ive been working there about 3 months now. Is this a practical joke or is this serious?.

what should i do? i think someone is trying to put a joke on me.
icant even wake up at 4am. and i work today and the SM was there and didnt even told me anything? i dunno what to do?

iam loader, fock it i aint going that early in the morning i just tellthem never got the msg.

Admin:
iam not ditching from work iam working tomorow 2 to closing. why would the SM call me and leave a msg and want me to go at 4am? i think someone is playing a pratical joke on me>????
and also the store doesnt open until 6am. and the SM doesnt go there at 6am. is this how do they do the 90 day review? i think not ithnk someone is doing a pratical joke. argg hate it.

in my store it is normal .to go in at 4 if there is a truck the night before --all openers come in at 4 or 5 to put it away ... Surprised Surprised

but i close yesterday? and go home at 10pm and sleep at 12am and work at 4am. do u think this is harsh. iam just a loader part time (student)? well i willkeep you posted and find out tonight if this is a joke or not.

Call the store - speak to your department manager, or the OPs or Store manager, find out what its about, and go from there. If you feel it is unreasonable, or impossible, tell them you have previous plans, or a class - but don't just ignore it. Maybe it is a co-worker playing a hoax on you. Call and find out. Don't make a big deal out of it.

Good point. The managers should know any state laws like that. Retail managers don't always follow (or make the effort to know)these rules, and that is why they have been made them law in some states. Can you believe the nerve of those pesky Unions bullying legislatures into placing unreasonable restrictions on retailers?!?!?!?!

what was your posted time in --they really cant change that ,
they can ask for volunteers...they can make it sound like you have to come in but a posted time is a posted time ,,cant be changed by them without your permission ..that is lowes law where i am from and i have seen a lot of stores

It happens all the time. Soon you will get a schedule where you will close for a solid week. If your schedule rotates, you may close one night and open the next every few days. It all depends on the rotation. Mad
